ARGUS Terms of Sale

1. Who we are
These terms are an agreement between you and Excaliat (Private) Limited ("Excaliat", "we", "us"), CUIN 0285492, CL-3, Block A, Abdalians Cooperative Housing Society, Lahore, Pakistan. They apply when you buy or use ARGUS.
2. What ARGUS is
ARGUS is AI video search software for CCTV systems. You install it on your own server and connect it to your own cameras and video recorder. Your authorised staff use it to search your recorded footage by description, photo or number plate, to follow a person or vehicle across cameras, and to get alerts for items on a watch list.
3. Plans and licence
ARGUS is sold as a licence priced by the number of cameras it covers. Each plan includes a set number of cameras and users, and extra cameras can be added. The plans and prices are on our pricing page. When you buy, we grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use ARGUS for your own organisation, for the cameras and users you paid for, while your subscription is active, or for life if you bought a lifetime licence. You may not resell, rent or share the software, or try to copy or reverse-engineer it.
4. Orders and payment through Paddle
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle handles payment, billing, invoices, sales tax and refunds, and its Buyer Terms also apply to your purchase. Prices are shown before you pay, and any tax for your country is added at checkout. With each order we give you a Client ID and an order number; please keep your Client ID for later orders and when you contact us.
5. Renewals and cancellation
Monthly, 6-month and yearly plans renew automatically at the end of each billing period, at the price shown when you bought them, until you cancel. You can cancel at any time from the link in your Paddle receipt email, or by writing to us. After you cancel you are not charged again, and ARGUS keeps working until the end of the period you already paid for. A lifetime licence is a single payment and does not renew.
6. Refunds
You can ask for a full refund within 60 days of any payment, without giving a reason. See our Refund Policy.
7. Lawful use
Use ARGUS only on cameras you own or are allowed to operate, and only for lawful security purposes. You are responsible for following the laws that apply to CCTV, privacy and photo search where your cameras are, including telling people that cameras are in use where the law requires it. You may not use ARGUS to track, harass or discriminate against anyone.
8. Your data and support
ARGUS runs on your own server, and your video and search results stay there. We do not receive your footage unless you choose to share some with us to fix a problem. Our team helps you set ARGUS up and fixes problems you report, by email or WhatsApp. How we handle your order details is explained in our Privacy Policy.
9. Ending your licence
Your licence ends when your subscription ends, when a payment is refunded, or if you seriously break these terms. When it ends, you must stop using ARGUS.
10. Liability
ARGUS is provided "as is". We work carefully, but we cannot guarantee that it finds every person or vehicle in your footage. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, and our total liability is limited to what you paid us for ARGUS in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing here takes away rights you have under the consumer laws of your country.
11. Ownership, law and changes
ARGUS remains the intellectual property of Excaliat. These terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan, and disputes go to the courts in Lahore, Pakistan. We may update these terms; the date at the top shows the latest version, and a change does not affect a payment you have already made.
